Regular check-ups

Regular check-ups for patients with cardiovascular disease or risk factors are key to early diagnosis and preventing serious complications.
Within the framework of secondary prevention, we follow patients with:
Myocardial infarction (Heart attack)
Heart failure
Stroke
Arrhythmia
Within the framework of primary prevention, we focus on patients with:
Arterial hypertension (High blood pressure)
Dyslipidemia (Abnormal blood lipid levels)
Family history of cardiovascular disease
Arrhythmia
Obesity
Heart ultrasound

An ultrasound (echocardiogram) is used to assess how well your heart and valves are functioning.
Carotid arteries ultrasound

Sonographic examination of the carotid arteries is used to detect atherosclerotic changes. The presence of these changes indicates an increased cardiovascular risk and the necessity of pharmacological intervention.
24-ECG holter

It is used to detect heart rhythm disorders (arrhythmias) using an ECG.
24-blood pressure monitor (ABPM)

The examination is performed to refine the diagnosis of high blood pressure and to assess the effectiveness of treatment. It allows monitoring of blood pressure during both day and night. It can diagnose 'white coat hypertension' (falsely elevated readings in the clinic) as well as masked hypertension.
